Introducing Semarang Cultural Cuisine MI KOPYOK at DAFT UNDIP

Mi kopyok (Hanacaraka: ꦩꦶꦪꦼꦏꦺꦴꦥꦾꦺꦴꦏ꧀ ) is a cultural food based from noodles that famous Semarang (1) The ingridient of Mi Kopyok are noodle (the yellow one), garlic stew, lontong (wraped rice), beans, fried tofu, some celeries and gendar rice cracker as the toppings. Mi kopyok merchant usualy sell their product on gerobak (food stall) but nowadays they also sell it on bike .

Department of Architecture FT Undip’s civitas academica try to celebrate the end of the academic year of 2025 with Mi Kopyok theme gathering under the Beringin tree in the campus. We wish that our harmony of culture, nature, people, and science can be sustain until the next generations like the philosophy of “mi kopyok” from Semarang (see figure 1).
